The magician tarot card meaning

The Magician points up with one hand and down with the other.
In his right hand, pointing upward, he holds a staff.
With his left hand he points to the earth. This posture means that the Magician is in direct connection with the higher from where he draws his power (energy) and expresses this power in matter through his actions.
He is a mediator between heaven and earth. He is aware of this, as evidenced by his white hairband.

His implements represent the four elements, namely:
Fire: Light of the spirit: The staff
Water: Feeling, the soul: The chalice
Air: Thoughtfulness: The double-edged sword
Earth: Matter: Coins (pentagrams)

Above his head is a lemniscate (a reclining 8 ), the symbol of eternity.
Around his waist he wears as a belt a snake, biting itself in the tail - an Ouroboros, also a symbol of eternity.
Nature above and below him is in full bloom. So above, so below.
The flower garden symbolizes the unconscious.

The color red of the robe and roses symbolizes love, desire and passion, but on the other hand red also stands for war and blood (life force), destruction.

The white in the robe and lilies expresses purity, selflessness and purity of soul.
Again, yellow is the clear mind and intellect. Yellow is a color of the sun, solar consciousness (clear consciousness).
